The CyberPower HT1108TNCGRU1 Home Theater surge suppressor, with is an Energy Saving technology, is a high performance surge protector with 4650 joules of protection, energy saving outlets, built-in RJ-45 & RJ6 ports for communications protection, and an easy to read LCD that enables users to quickly monitor status on voltage and current (amperes) to assure proper operation of devices. The surge protector is ideal for protecting home theater equipment (high definition TVs, Blue Ray players, and surround sound systems), satellite and cable TV receivers, personal computers and peripherals, and other consumer electronics.

Master controlled outlets reduce energy costs by turning off idle peripherals. The HT1108TNCGRU1 has a single master outlet that will control up to six devices attached to the master controlled outlets. When the master device is turned off or goes into standby, the master controlled outlets will automatically shut off power to the attached devices to save energy. The energy saving functionality can be enabled or disabled with a conveniently located switch.

The HT1108TNCGRU1 features six (6) widely spaced outlets, MOV technology to guard the surge suppressor and connected electronics against line abnormalities and lightning surges, while EMI/RFI filters block unwanted line noise. Data line protection is provided via RJ-45 ports for networking and telecommunication devices such as phones, faxes, modems, and DSL lines. The RJ6 Coax ports provide protection for cable/satellite TV receivers and broadband modems.
