Muting The UPS Alarm

Non LCD CP#### Models
For models that begin with CP, followed by 3 or 4 numbers, and without an LCD ( ex. CP1500AVR), the alarm can be disabled in the PowerPanel Personal Edition software.  Open PowerPanel Personal Edition, click on configure then notifications and select "disable alarms at all times".   

LCD Models
For models that have an LCD the alarm can be disabled in the PowerPanel Personal Edition software or by pressing the LCD display/mode button.  To disable the alarm using the software open PowerPanel Personal Edition, click on Configure then Notifications and select "disable alarms at all times".   To disable the alarm using the display/mode button, press and hold the display/mode button until an icon with a crossed out speaker appear or the alarm stops. 

Non LCD Rack Mount Models
For rack mount models without an LCD the alarm can be disabled in the PowerPanel Business Edition software or by pressing the test button.  To disable the buzzer when running on battery power press and hold the test button until the buzzer stops.To disable the alarm in PowerPanel Business Edition click on Battery Backup, Configuration, System, and then select "The backup alarm is disabled".
