CP1500PFCLCD

PFC Sinewave UPS Series

CP1500PFCLCD | PFC Sinewave UPS Series
Protect computers, workstations, department servers, networking hardware, and A/V equipment

Product Overview

A mini-tower UPS with line interactive topology, the CyberPower PFC Sinewave CP1500PFCLCD provides battery backup, power protection (using sine wave output), and surge protection for desktop computers, workstations, networking devices, and home entertainment systems requiring active PFC power source compatibility. The CP1500PFCLCD uses Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to correct minor power fluctuations without switching to battery power, which extends battery life. AVR is essential in areas where power fluctuations occur frequently.

Two USB charge ports (1 Amp shared) power portable devices such as mobile phones, MP3 players, and cameras. The CP1500PFCLCD comes with a three-year warranty (including coverage of batteries) and a $500,000 Connected Equipment Guarantee.

  • Battery Backup
Supplies power long enough for equipment to properly shut down when utility power fails. Helps prevent loss of data and minimizes the component stress caused by a hard shutdown.
  • Surge Protection
Diverts excess voltage away from sensitive electronic equipment during an AC power surge or power spike to prevent damage.
  • Data Line Protection
Prevents power surges that travel through telephone, coaxial, and Ethernet lines from causing damage to electronics.
  • Line Interactive Topology
Exists when a line interactive UPS has an autotransformer that regulates low voltages (e.g., brownouts) and over voltages (e.g., spikes) without having to switch to battery.
  • Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR)
Provides clean, consistent AC power by automatically increasing (boosting) low voltage without using battery power when incoming utility power experiences minor fluctuations.
  • Sine Wave Output
Provides power protection to ENERGY STAR® 6.0 systems with Active PFC power supplies.
  • USB Charge Ports (1 Amp Shared)
Charge and power USB devices such as tablets (including iPad), smartphones, MP3 players, and other mobile accessories.
  • GreenPower UPS™ Bypass Design
Is a patented design that allows utility power to bypass the UPS transformer, when AC power is stable, which reduces energy consumption, noise, and heat buildup.
  • Multifunction LCD Panel
Displays immediate, detailed information on the UPS battery and power conditions, alerting users to potential problems before they can affect critical equipment and cause downtime.
  • Ultra Quiet Design
Minimizes noise during operation for a quieter work environment.
  • PowerPanel® Personal Edition Software
Provides a user-friendly dashboard interface for controlling and monitoring the UPS. Connect your computer to the HID-compliant USB port or serial port (if available) to use the power management features provided by PowerPanel® Personal Edition software. Free software download available. See the Resources tab.
  • Three-Year Warranty
CyberPower will repair or replace a defective UPS system (including batteries) within three years of the purchase date. See warranty for details.
  • Connected Equipment Guarantee
CyberPower will repair or replace properly connected equipment if it is damaged by a power surge.

What operating systems support USB connectivity with CyberPower UPS units?

The USB port can be used with Windows, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, 7, and Server 2008.

Why is the wiring fault light illuminated on my UPS unit?

The wiring fault light indicates that the outlet that the unit is connected to is either not properly grounded or has reversed wiring. First, try connecting the unit to another outlet. If the unit still displays the electrical wiring fault, contact technical support for assistance.

If the unit does not display the wiring fault light in the new outlet, you will need to have an electrician correct the problem with the faulty outlet.

My LCD screen shuts off after 15-30 seconds of inactivity. Is there a way to keep the LCD screen illuminated at all times?

The LCD will only light up when the Display button is pressed. This extends the life of the LCD screen and is part of the energy-saving features of CyberPower UPS systems.
