CyberPower's remote management card, enables remote management and configuration for specific CyberPower ATS PDU and UPS models.
Device configuration can be enabled via web browsers, network management systems or command line interface on your network. RMcard user interface supports multiple languages, event notifications via email, SNMP traps, syslog, and SMS. And allows quick and easy firmware upgrades and configuration file uploads by using the upgrade and configuration utility or a command prompt. Other benefits of the RMcard include: scheduled shutdown, startup reboot of the UPS or non-critical load outlets, support Wake-on-LAN functionality, and external authentication protocols.
The installation of the RMcard is simple. To ensure seamless operation the RMcard is plug-and-play. To install, simply insert the card into the expansion slot, and connect it to your network with an ethernet cable. Maintenance is also easy. The card is hot-swappable allowing you to reset or reboot without powering down the UPS or ATS PDU. After installing the card, users can acquire the RM cards IP address by either using the power device network utility, or the upgrade and configuration utility, both available for download on CyberPower's website. By logging onto the IP address of the RMCARD, users can easily find vital status information on the summary page; perform advanced settings in the configuration page; run battery test and runtime calibration in the diagnostics page, or go to the log page to check the event logs, status records, draw graphs of the data log, and change maintenance settings.
Users can set up event notifications by going to the system, notification, event action page. By connecting an ENVIROSENSOR to the RMcard via universal port the RMcard provides users real-time environmental temperature and humidity readings. Users can also set up event notifications. Users can also utilize the input contact closures on the ENVIROSENSOR to monitor external devices, such as door sensors. The card is compatible with PowerPanel power management software. To monitor and manage CyberPower's network connected equipment and enable protective equipment graceful shutdown, to ensure optimal and timely protection in case of a power outage. To enable power management in environments with multiple UPS systems, PDUs and ATS PDUs, PowerPanel Business Edition center can be installed.
