CyberPower started from humble beginnings, it started in 1997, just a handful of people; three people and a loading dock, it blossomed into what it is today just basically because of the people and the way that we go about our business.
We've got locations all across the world, over 3,000 employees worldwide, it's been an amazing ride. CyberPower manufactures power protection equipment. It's our mission to build strong relationships by creating trusted power solutions. The values have always been with the company with the people that were here from the start. We’re already living them.
At CyberPower, we go beyond. Exceeding expectations, especially when it's a small company we all pitch in where we can. We always strive to do the right thing when we go beyond I mean standing out, not just with our customers but here in the office as well.
At CyberPower, we own it. We all take pride in our daily action. I might be doing things that aren't part of my job but I want to own it and I want to get it done. I always ask myself what's best for CyberPower, it could be as simple as just making next pot of coffee, replacing the water jug and the break room, you are encouraged to have your own initiative and to take the bull by the horns if there's something you want to do here you can certainly do that.
At CyberPower, we have balance. It's a very relaxed family environment; early Fridays you know from the beginning. You look around our office you're going to see a lot of laughing, it's always important for everybody to go out and have fun in their personal lives and when we come here we're working hard - it's, it's like home.
At CyberPower, we listen. We've always done a nice job of listening to our customers; it's given us advantages over our competition simply because we discovered something that they didn't know. We’re lucky to have customers; customers who trust us share with us treat us like partners, they're looking for something specific they can come to us and they know we're gonna get the job done right.
At CyberPower, we say yes. I think if you want to be successful, yes is the right answer. Seeing opportunities for improvement where others might only see problems. Being able to say yes, we're going to be their first call and that's the ideal scenario, "if opportunity doesn't knock, build the door." That's what we do here at CyberPower.
As we grow, I think it's really important to document these values so that everyone in the company kind of understands what the values of the company should be. They shouldn’t be thought of as, you know, words on a piece of paper these are things but you know you should embody every day. They've gotten us to where we are and we want to keep that success going.
