The CyberPower Essential Online OL2K2RM is a rack mounted UPS with double conversion topology. It provides sine wave output to critical applications and equipment that require seamless power correction. The Extended Battery Module (EBM) expands runtime, and Fast Charge Technology restores full backup power faster. This model comes with Smart Battery Management charging technology, and energy-saving GreenPower UPS™ ECO Mode.
The OL2K2RM offers generator compatibility and delivers clean AC power with zero transfer time. Its sine wave output keeps sensitive equipment working by preventing unnecessary shutdowns that can occur with simulated sine wave output.

- Double-Conversion Topology Provides consistent, clean, and nearly perfect power, regardless of the condition of the incoming power. With the conversion to DC power, the UPS has a zero millisecond transfer time to battery power when utility power is lost. Designed for high-end system components, corporate servers, lab equipment, and other sensitive electronic devices.
- Sine Wave Output Keeps sensitive equipment with Active PFC working by preventing unnecessary shutdowns caused by gaps from simulated sine waves.
- PowerPanel® Business Edition Software Provides tools for easy remote monitoring and managing of the UPS and automates shutdown of multiple devices when needed.
- RMCARD205 Option The optional RMCARD205 allows remote management and configuration of the UPS via a standard web browser, command line interface (CLI), or network management system (NMS).
- LCD Control Panel Displays and allows configuration of IP address settings when an RMCARD205 is installed.
- Extended Battery Module (EBM) Extends runtime by adding up to 10 EBMs.
- Fast Charge Technology Allows UPS batteries to return to full capacity more rapidly by utilizing a built-in charger. Restores charge from 0-90% within 4 hours regardless of the number of EBMs.
- Smart Battery Management (SBM) Improves and extends the functional life of a UPS battery and reduces excessive heat during work cycles by using a three-cycle charging process.

- Hot-Swappable Batteries Keep equipment running by eliminating downtime during UPS battery replacement.
- Upgradeable UPS firmware The UPS firmware that manages the unit’s features and functions is field upgradeable. UPS firmware upgrades require the optional RMCARD205 to be installed in the UPS and are done via the web management interface.
- Emergency Power Off (EPO) Allows the UPS to be shut off in the event of an emergency, when the EPO port is connected to an EPO switch.
- Generator Compatible Provides stable sine wave output (free of harmonics and distortion) without switching to battery mode when running on generator input power.
- USB & Serial Connectivity Enables full integration with built-in power management and auto shutdown features on Windows, Linux, and VMware systems through a HID-compliant USB port and Serial port.
- EMI/RFI Filters Prevent electromagnetic and radio frequency interference to ensure clean power for connected equipment.
- Audible Alarms Identify when the model is running on battery power, overloaded, has a low battery, or UPS fault.
