The user-friendly 7” color touchscreen displays key status indicators at-a-glance. Three-stage Smart Battery Management (SBM) equalizes battery voltages and reduces excessive heat to extend battery life. Plus, hot-swappable power modules, battery and, bypass allow for rapid replacement and minimal impact to system operation. Ideal for high-end data centers, the SM020KAMFA Smart App Online 3-Phase Modular UPS System assures reliable, high-quality AC power and includes a One-Year Limited Warranty.

Double-Conversion Topology
Provides consistent, clean, and nearly perfect power, regardless of the condition of the incoming power. Never a need to switch to battery as DC power operates 100% of the time. Designed for high-end system components, corporate servers, lab equipment, and other sensitive electronic devices.

Sine Wave Output
Keeps sensitive equipment with Active PFC working by preventing unnecessary shutdowns caused by gaps from simulated sine waves.

Full Matrix LCD Touch Screen
Simple to set up, the user-friendly 7” color touchscreen display provides key status indicators at-a-glance with alerts of potential problems that could impact equipment and cause downtime. Screen tilts up to 22 degrees for easy viewing.

Hot-Swappable Batteries
Keeps equipment running by eliminating downtime during UPS power maintenance.

N+N Redundancy
Ensures uninterrupted operation if the entire system fails. N+1 redundancy guarantees system availability if one power module fails.

Expandable External Battery Cabinet
Extends runtime by adding space for additional battery modules.

Smart Battery Mangement
Improves and extends the functional life of a UPS battery and reduces excessive heat during work cycles by using a three-cycle charging process.

Battery Equalization Technology
Battery Equalization is an advanced charging process that maintains the voltages of the batteries at the same level to increase battery life.

PowerPanel® Business Software
Provides tools for easy remote monitoring and managing of the UPS and automates shutdown of multiple devices when needed.

RMCARD205
Enables remote management of up to 50 clients via a standard web browser, command-line interface (CLI), or network management system (NMS) connection.

Optional Input and Output 175A Circuit Breakers
Ensures power is turned off during service or maintenance and eliminates the risk of unintended powering off.

Upgradable UPS Firmware
Keeps equipment running by eliminating downtime during UPS power maintenance.

Multiple Language Options
The LCD Control Panel can be configured in English or Chinese.

Emergency Power Off (EPO)
Allows the UPS to be shut off in the event of an emergency when the EPO port is connected to an EPO switch.

Generator Compatible
Ensures a stable sine wave output (free of harmonics and distortion) without switching to battery mode when running on generator input power.

Converter Mode
Provides the flexibility to set the output frequency, regardless of the input frequency, to match connected equipment by selecting 50Hz or 60Hz output on the LCD control panel.

USB, Serial, Modbus, and SNMP Connectivity
Flexible connectivity to use PowerPanel software, Modbus, or an RMCARD205 to monitor and manage your Smart App Online 3-Phase Modular UPS.

Redundancy

Power Module (N+1) – Ensures power continuity with an additional redundant power module option configuration. If a module fails, the rest of the modules take over to guarantee power needs are met.

UPS System (N+N) – Ensures uninterrupted system operation with a mirrored parallel system configuration and capability to fully take over connected power needs should either system go offline for any reason.

Scalable / Modular Design

Depending on the model selected, the system can be scalable from 10-20kVA or 10-40kVA to meet current and future power needs within the same footprint. N+N parallel system power up to 80kVA capability.

Highly configurable system can be adapted to different site needs. UPS and battery cabinets can be assembled as a tower stack, side-by-side, or within a rack. Power and battery modules are compact and designed for rapid assembly or removal.

High-Density Power Modules

Compact 2U Design (3.3″ height) for easy installation and service. Compact footprint allows for an efficient cabinet design. Getting more power in less space will become critical as growing data centers confront physical space limitations.

User Interface LCD Color Touch Screen

Intuitive LCD touch display control provides four main display windows; Main Menu, System Information, Power Path, and Warning Messages. The operator can control the UPS, check all measured parameters for UPS and battery status, plus monitor event and history logs.

Smart Battery Management

Smart Battery Management (SBM) improves and extends the functional life of a UPS battery and reduces excessive heat during work cycles by using a three-cycle charging process.

What is N+1?

N = Power delivered by the UPS (e.g. 20KVA). +1 refers to an extra power and battery module for redundancy. If there is a fault in one module it can be replaced while still providing fully protected power.

What Is N+N?

N+N is a second complete UPS wired in parallel, distributing 50% of the load evenly across the two units. If one UPS were to fail, the load would be seamlessly picked up by the reciprocal UPS.

What Is (N+1)+(N+1)?

Redundant redundancy, for the most critical applications. Two N+1 UPS systems in parallel to increase reliability exponentially and eliminate downtime. Provide confidence that you are prepared for the unexpected.

Is my UPS “Hot-Swappable”?

If N+1 is purchased, YES! If your system is not configured for N+1, each power module supplies 10KVA of power, so if you are running 20KVA of load on a 40KVA system you can swap power modules because the system will remain running on 30 of 40KVA, easily picking up your 20KVA load until the new power module is installed. For batteries, the same applies. If at least one extra battery string is provided, the UPS can operate fully protected while the battery modules are replaced one at a time.

Do I need the optional circuit breakers?

If the power feed is protected upstream, by an appropriately sized overcurrent protection device, an input circuit breaker is not required. If the output is feeding a distribution panel with a properly sized main circuit breaker, the output breaker is not required. With all of that said, having the circuit breakers located at the UPS adds an extra disconnect point, centralized at the UPS for quick and easy bypass function for repairs or maintenance. If paralleling UPS systems, both systems should be equipped with the optional circuit breakers.
