
SHAKOPEE, Minn. – Cyber Power Systems (USA), Inc. a leader in power protection and power management products, today announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has selected Matthew Rathbun, senior director of channel sales at CyberPower, to the prestigious 2026 CRN® Channel Chiefs list. This annual recognition celebrates IT vendor and distribution executives who are shaping channel strategy and driving innovation and partnership across the industry.
Since joining CyberPower in December 2024, Rathbun quickly reorganized and realigned his sales teams to optimize channel coverage and establish a scalable structure to support sales growth. Rathbun oversees the company’s Direct Market Reseller (DMR) team and the Channel Partner Field sales team, the latter group which he formed.
Under the DMR program, Rathbun guides the company’s national account managers and sales specialists, and during 2025, he brought manufacturer’s representatives into the network who have contributed to the company’s sales growth.
Rathbun also grew membership in CyberPower’s award-winning Channel Partner Alliance reseller partner program which supports traditional channel partners of VARs (value-added resellers), managed service providers (MSPs), distributors, and integrators.
