To correctly use the IN and OUT jacks for the RJ11/45 phone/network ports:
- Connect the cord from your wall to the IN jack. NOTE: For some surge suppressors, the IN jack might show the icon of a phone.
- Connect your computer or peripheral to the OUT jack. NOTE: For some surge suppressors, the OUT jack might show the icon of a computer.
